Cyclist remains in critical condition after Fleetwood roundabout crash

An 81-year-old cyclist remains in a critical condition after he was knocked off his bike in Fleetwood last week.

The pensioner suffered serious head injuries in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa at the Eros roundabout, between Amounderness Way and Fleetwood Road, at around 8pm last Thursday (April 23).

The driver stopped at the scene and has assisted police with their enquiries, but officers are now appealing for witnesses.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "We need anyone who saw what happened to come forward as they could have vital information to assist our investigation.
