The original iconic Volvo P1800 coupe driven by Roger Moore in 1960s TV series The Saint is coming to Fleetwood.
It is one of hundreds of vehicles going on display during the annual Tram Sunday event, which takes place on July 20.
The pristine white car, built in 1962, was found rotting away on a North Wales farm 23 years ago with the engine on the back seat. Today it looks as good as when The Saint last stepped out of it.
The Saint, about a suave, latter-day Robin Hood-type character, made Moore a star and helped him win the James Bond role in 1973.
Last year saw 70,000 visitors come to Fleetwood for Tram Sunday and this year will see an even bigger event, with police horses, rides on two-wheel Segways, and a scarecrow festival, with judging day on Tram Sunday itself.
There will be a tram and vehicle parade, arts festival parade and, for the first time, Wyre Council’s Spare Parts arts festival, which will see the seafront transformed by a JCB dancing show. Tram Sunday remains the North’s biggest transport festival.
