The role of the governing body is to oversee the work of the CCG and ensure arrangements are in place to allow the organisation to effectively carry out its duties.

Members of the public are invited to attend and observe the meeting and can also submit any questions they want to be asked in writing in advance of the meeting.

There will also be an opportunity during the meeting to ask questions about any item on the agenda.

Mary Dowling, chairman of the CCG’s governing body, said: “The CCG governing body makes some very important decisions and we encourage people to come along and be part of it.

“We like to hold meetings outside of our headquarters and in the community to give local people the opportunity to come and meet us.”
