Police have called for help after five businesses in Knott End and Hambleton were targeted in an early morning spate of burglaries.
The burglaries are believed to have happened on January 29 between 2 and 3am in Wyre View, Knott End, and around the Church Lane, Hambleton, area.
Thieves targeted a number of different businesses including a squash club, barbers, taxi office, butchers and stables.
Money, barber scissors, clippers, brushes and shovels were among the items stolen from the businesses.
It is believed that in one of the businesses considerable damage was done to the front door of the premises and the till was forced open.
Meanwhile in another, damage was done to the interior.
Gary Cross, from Garstang and Over Wyre’s neighbourhood policing team, said: “We are particularly keen to speak to three men wearing high-visibility jackets who were seen in the area using a high top white van.
“If anybody saw anything, or can provide a registration number for the van, they can email firstname.lastname@example.org and quote log LC-20150129-0147.” Call police on 101.
