Fleetwood youngster Bobby's marathon cycle quest for good cause
Bobby, aged nine, of Broadway in Fleetwood, is planning to cycle 26.2 miles to raise money for an outdoor activity area at the town’s Larkholme Primary School.
The activity area is being planned in memory of a former pupil at the school, Lucy Willacy-Brown who tragically died unexpectedly from a health-related issue last September, aged just eight.

He is hoping to raise £500, while the school itself has set a £30,000 target
Bobby will be cycling from his home to the North Euston Hotel in Fleetwood, then all the way to Starr Gate and back in the next few weeks.
Dad Ian, 39, will be accompanying him on the trek.
Mum Carol, 37, said: “The school was raising money for the activity area and Bobby wanted to do his bit as well, because he was a friend of Lucy’s.

“Bobby is really looking forward to some ice cream at the end of it.”
Bobby is a former pupil at Larkholme himself, although he now attends Flakefleet Primary School in the town.
Carol says the route will officially amount to the 26.2 miles needed to make a marathon.
