A canny retailer has taken the heartache out of Black Friday by flogging a mystery box of goodies - that could contain anything in their barmy catalogue.
Online retailer Firebox are selling the zaniest super saving idea for Black Friday - because they are refusing to tell customers what they might get.
They are selling The Black Box for £74.99 - despite it containing £155 worth of stock.
With items ranging from inflatable unicorns to grow-your-own escargot kits, brave customers who order one of the boxes today (Fri) have no idea what they could be getting.
A spokesperson said: “Black Friday should be more than just a day of mad discounts on things you don’t really need.
“It should be about the joy of discovery, the element of surprise and getting something that’s not on your Christmas wish list for a change.
“Which is why Firebox.com has created The Black Box - something compelling to provoke those mavericks willing to embrace the unknown.”
This carefully-curated box contains an abundance of Firebox best sellers worth over £155.
Head of Buying, Ben Redhead, added: “We’re not revealing what’s inside, but what we will tell you is that you’re getting more than double your money’s worth.
“If for some unfathomable reason you don’t want to keep all of the wonders inside for yourself, it’ll basically be your Christmas shopping sorted in one fell swoop.”
