For families there are a number of beach craft events taking place at Rossall Point Tower and a conservation day is also planned for Sunday, August 19.

Craft events are being held on August 2, 10, 26 and 29. Wyre Council is also supporting Love my Beach’s Active Coast campaign which encourages the use of the whole of the Fylde coast for sports and activities to improve health and wellbeing.

Councillor Lynne Bowen, “Now that the whole stretch of our promenade is open for everyone to enjoy, these events will really showcase our coastal areas and provide great days out for families across Wyre.

"Of course it’s not just about the beaches, we have many brilliant attractions including Marine Hall and Rossall Point Tower, which host events all year round. If you have never been to these lovely spots before I’d encourage you to make a visit this summer.”
