MORE Fleetwood buildings than ever could be open for this year’s annual heritage days in September.
Last year 15 of the port’s most interesting, famous and historic buildings were open to the public and Fleetwood Civic Society is hoping to improve on that this year.
Chairman of the society Margaret Daniels, said many people responsible for venues had committed again but she was hoping that more would join the national event which gives the public the chance to enter buildings which are normally closed.
She said: “Last year was good for Fleetwood because we had a considerable number of people visiting. “There were a lot at the Mount and other places reported more than 100 visitors.
“People came from out of town and it showed Fleetwood in a good light and was a great success.”
