But some 24 Fleetwood women are preparing to do just that in a few months’ time - and it’s all for a good cause. Fitness instructor Maxine Garrett and members of her class are trying to raise £1,000 for Fleetwood
mum of-four Sam Frith, of Heathfield Road, who is now terminally ill after developing breast cancer two years ago.

Maxine and her class members have signed up for the challenging Muddy Manics event, which takes place at Burrs Park in Bury on April 24.

Mum-of-two Maxine, 37, of Broadway, Fleetwood, said: “As a mum myself Sam’s situation really strikes a chord.”
