Fleetwood’s popular Christmas Market is returning this month.

Thousands of food lovers and Christmas shoppers flocked to the Marine Hall for the big event last year, and organisers sy this year’s will be better than ever.

The event is being staged on Sunday November 30, from 10am to 4pm.

It will feature food and drink as well as traditional hand-made gifts and craft items.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a glass of mulled wine and pick up some treats for festive celebrations.

There will also be a children’s zone, which includes a Santa’s grotto.

Visitors can try their hand at decorating Christmas gingerbread or try their hand at festive cupcake decorating.

Artist Shane Johnston will be back with his amazing ‘Splodge-A-Matic’ painting machine, giving children the chance to create their very own Christmas glitter and gold painting to take home.

And for foodies, the talented chefs at Twelve Restaurant in Thornton will be on stage throughout the day with some festive cooking demonstrations.

Paul Moss, chef at Twelve Restaurant said: “We are delighted to once again be working with Marine Hall at the Christmas Market.

“Our demonstrations on stage at the venue’s Food Festival in August worked really well so we will be doing the same type of thing at the market along the theme of Christmas made simple.

“Once again we will do three demonstrations to showcase a starter, main course and dessert.

“We will be giving visitors lots of tips and showing some simple techniques to help make Christmas day run smoothly.”
