Wanted teenager arrested in connection to death outside Fylde Coast pub

Police have arrested a 19-year-old man wanted by police in connection with a manslaughter investigation on the Fylde Coast.

Detectives wanted to find Lee Sharples, 19, after David Allinson, 63, died following an alleged assault outside the King’s Arms Hotel in Lord Street, Fleetwood, on Sunday.

Mr Allinson was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment but sadly died a short time later.

A post mortem examination revealed he died as a result of a heart attack.

Sharples was arrested today in Blackpool on suspicion of manslaughter and is currently in custody.

A 62-year-old man from Fleetwood, earlier arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released under investigation.
