FLEETWOOD Town striker Keigan Parker has appeared in court and admitted two charges of driving while banned.

The former Blackpool star, on loan at Fleetwood from Blue Square Premier League rivals Mansfield Town, received a six-month driving ban at Hereford Magistrates Court in October.

The ban was imposed under totting-up rules but Parker was not in court at the time and told magistrates at Chesterfield he had been unaware of the disqualification.

The 28-year-old, of Forest Gate, Blackpool, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance in Mansfield Road, near Chesterfield, on November 3 and Quarry Lane, Mansfield, on January 17.

He further admitted a speeding offence in his BMW.

He will ask the court to consider “special reasons” not to further disqualify him at a hearing on April 11.
