Suspect arrested after man hospitalised following assault in Fleetwood

A man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following an assault in Fleetwood.

Police said they were called to a report of an assault at an address in Warrenhurst Road shortly before 6pm on Sunday, April 4.

A number of police cars, ambulances and rapid response vehicles responded to the incident, as well as an air ambulance.

The victim, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital for treatment. Officers said his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
