A 47-year-old Fleetwood man waved his fists at his partner and then threatened to kill her, magistrates heard.
John Dolan admitted assaulting the woman who had been his partner for 28 years when he appeared before Blackpool Magistrates.
He was fined £35 and ordered to pay £105 costs.
Alison Quarnbrough, prosecuting, said that a row broke out at the couple’s home on Wyre Street, Fleetwood, during which Dolan made his threat and accused his partner of having affairs.
He was arrested and in interview told police that he did lose his temper and that he let his mouth runaway with him.
Patrick Nelligan, defending, said: “He accepts he was angry and must have caused her fear.”
