Fleetwood man in court charged with child sex offences
A Fleetwood man arrested on suspicion of child sex offences has made his first appearance in court.
Darren Fletcher, 50, of Shakespeare Road, Fleetwood, was arrested at 10.50pm on Tuesday night.
He was charged with two counts of attempting sexual communication with a child and two counts of attempting to incite a child into sexual activity.
He appeared at Blackpool Magistrates Court this morning, where it was decided he would face trial by jury. He is due to appear at Preston Court Crown on May 9.
No plea was entered.
