Fleetwood Freeport is supporting the success of the town’s football club with a new sponsorship deal.
The retail outlet has joined forces with Fleetwood Town FC to sponsor the boards around the edge of the pitch and the match day programme.
Freeport centre manager John Magee said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring our local team, the Cod Army, and to cheer them on as they battle it out on the pitch this season.
“We wish them every success and hope to see them winning the league and be promoted yet again.
“Fleetwood Town FC continues to climb from strength to strength, so this sponsorship deal is perfect for positioning Freeport Fleetwood in the local economy and for supporting our local community, which is of the utmost importance to us.”
The Cod Army offers the cheapest adult ticket in League One, making them the perfect partner for Freeport, which offers discount brands.
Martin Booker, head of commercial at Fleetwood Town FC, said: “We are delighted to agree sponsorship with Freeport Fleetwood and for the opportunities it presents for the club to link up with another success story in the town.
“For us to be supported by a local high profile business is great and we hope that this is a relationship that continues to flourish in seasons to come.
“Here at Fleetwood Town FC there is a great community spirit, so being supported by a local company underlines that community spirit. ”
