BREAKING: Body found on beach
The body of a man has been found on Blackpool beach.
Police were called to the beach, opposite Blackpool Tower, at around 4pm on Tuesday, following a call from a member of the public.
A police spokesman said: “We were called just after 4pm to a report that the body of a man had been found on Blackpool beach.
“Further inquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the man and the circumstances.”
Police have no further details as yet – more to follow.
