Marine Hall in Fleetwood is set to be transformed into a food lovers’ paradise as local chefs and producers sign up for the Fylde Coast Food and Drink Festival.

Marine Hall’s partner caterer Twelve Restaurant will be doing three cooking demonstrations throughout the event, on Sunday, August 18.

Paul Moss, proprietor chef at Twelve, said: “We are delighted to be taking part in such an exciting event and to be working along the iconic Marine Hall to host this year’s inaugural festival.

As well as our demonstrations we will be doing tastings throughout the day.”

The event is also going east with the likes of Fleetwood’s Gurka Legends Restaurant and Additions Café Bar, which will be offering tastes of their Nepalese and Indian cuisine.

In addition, Island Foods will be selling garlic and chilli sauces, samosas and fries. There will be a huge number of other exhibitors and stalls throughout the day.

The festival will take place from 10am to 4pm and entrance is just £1 for adults and 50p for children and there’s plenty of free parking right outside.

There’s much more going on throughout the day.
