Get Scratchy in South Shore with new cabaret
Organisers hope it will become a regular monthly event and attract audiences looking for something different to the standard night-out-at-the-pub.
Scratch Three Times on the Ceiling takes place on Thursday, March 24 at The Royal Oak, Waterloo Rd,from 7pm. There is a charge of £3. The event features local performance poet Trevor Meaney, grime and hip-hop artists from hush-hush media JLG, BEANZ, GDoubleE, plus local dance artists WINGZ, along with comedy by Liverpool based Giggle Dungeon, compered by ‘Debbie Fenner’, a self-styled South Shore girl made good comedy creation.

Hide AdMelanie Whitehead, director of The Electric Sunshine Project, says: “We hope to offer something new and interesting; something that’s a bit different from other nights in Blackpool. You may not enjoy every single act but there will definitely be something in the evening that will make you laugh, think or touch you in some way .”
