Female photographers set to have their shots shown off at Blackpool tram stops

Local female photographers will have their shots shown off at tram stops between North and South Pier as part of a new display called F/Stop.

Some 27 images will be showcased during the next Hivejacked exhibition this Easter, with winning submissions picked by an independent curator.

To take part, women – and those identifying as women – must be a permanent FY postcode resident, and their work must be their own, inoffensive, and suitable to be displayed in a public, family-friendly location.

The exhibition was originally only open to street and documentary photographers, but now all styles and genres are being accepted.

Picked photographers will be given a mount to place their image on but must pay a printing fee of £20.

To submit an image for consideration, email [email protected] and [email protected] with one low resolution shot before Saturday, February 20.
