It comes after the Seasiders were held to a frustrating goalless draw against Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.
John Coleman’s side did a good job of stifling Pool, sitting deep, putting men behind the ball and nullifying their build-up play.

While the Seasiders were disappointed to draw for the second game running, the result extends their unbeaten run to 15 games ahead of Saturday’s encounter with promotion rivals Sunderland.
“It was a similar game to when we played them away from home. It was a very tough game and very demanding on both sets of players,” Maxwell said.
“They’ve had some poor results recently (losing 5-1 to AFC Wimbledon in their last game) but they’ve obviously turned it around against us, but in the main, I thought we played really well.

“They were tough to break down but we’re going to find that between now and the end of the season.
“We’re a team that likes to dominate possession and we create chances against teams and we try and work an opening.
“Teams are going to try and stay in a low block against us and try and see out the game and take a draw, which is a compliment to us.

Tuesday night wasn’t the first time Maxwell has been Blackpool’s penalty hero this season, having saved three spot-kicks during their FA Cup shootout victory against West Bromwich Albion back in January.
“It’s something I enjoy and it’s something I think every goalkeeper relishes,” the 30-year-old added.
“To come away with another save is something I’m proud of, but to come away with a clean sheet and to not lose the game is the most important thing. It’s just a shame we couldn’t get all three (points).

“When you’re bidding for promotion or a successful season, then you’ve got to make sure you don’t get beaten.
“The worst result we get is a draw, so we move on, we move forward and we look forward to the remaining games of the season.”
