'Deliberate' caravan fire in Blackpool

Investigations are under way following a late night caravan fire.

Firefighters from Blackpool and South Shore attended the scene of the fire at the Blackpool and and Fylde Industrial State in Cropper Road, Westby-with-Plumptons, at 9:19pm last night (Saturday, April 21).

The caravan, which was disused, was extinguished using one hose reel.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and is being investigated."
