Serious concerns for missing autistic 12-year-old boy in St Annes

A missing boy in St Annes has police seriously concerned for his whereabouts.

The boy, called William, is 12-years-old and was last seen on St Annes beach at 2pm today.

He was wearing a striped pink and red T-shirt, tartan shorts and was barefoot at the time of disappearing.

Police are seriously concerned due to William being autistic.

A police spokesman said: "He has autism so unlikely to approach strangers. Please call us immediately if you see him with the log ref 931."
