Campaign group Plastic Free Preston and two local milk suppliers using glass packaging were at the roadside near Little Plumpton. They were joined by local residents and Central Lancashire Friends of the Earth under a giant bunting of 160 plastic milk bottles – representing the average yearly household consumption.
It was part of a Save Our Land themed week of activity during the community-led United Resistance three months of protests against fracking at Cuadrilla’s site.
