A Blackpool train conductor has a radical new look, having being stripped of his long locks to raise money for charity after a close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Danny Tunnicliff, who works for rail operator Northern, braved the shave at Ace of Fades barbers in Fleetwood,

Danny said: “A very good friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer and she has started weekly double doses of chemotherapy to try and blitz it before it spreads.

"Usually, chemo is three weekly, so this highlights the severity of her case.
