OAP, 73, held for money laundering after £200k in cash seized
A 73-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and money laundering after £200k in cash was found at two addresses in Blackpool
Police stopped a Peugeot 3008 car on Cookson Street at about 6pm on Wednesday and recovered a quantity of drugs. They then searched two addresses in the resort.
£100k cash was found at each of the addresses.
Two other people were also arrrested.
A 38-year-old man was arrested for possession of cannabis, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and money laundering and a 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of cannabis and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
They are currently in custody.
