Hide AdJonathan is thrilled to be heading back so soon - and is relishing the prospect of the Community Choir sharing the stage, just as much as they are delighted with the exciting opportunity to showcase their talents.
Graham Warrington, musical director of the choir which celebrates its fifth birthday early next year, said: “The choir were very excited when I told them we would be singing alongside Jonathan at the opening night of his solo tour. We are working closely with his musical director on some lovely choral arrangements. “
Jonathan’s appearance in August was the second at the Festival, previously known as the Proms. In 2013, he performed there with former singing partner Charlotte Jaconelli. The pair were runners-up in TV’s Britain’s Got Talent the previous year.
Jonathan said: “It’s really exciting to be doing my first solo UK tour and to start in Lytham is fantastic as the town and local area have been so supportive to me over the last few years.” Tickets are available on (01253) 794221.
