1. Stanley Park area
The Stanley Park area of Blackpool is highly-rated by readers.
Michelina Sophia said: "It's a great location here near Stanley Park/Blackpool Cricket Club area. Close to shops on Whitegate Drive, close to a beautiful park, golf course, sports centre, pubs, restaurants. "It's walking distance to a nature reserve, town centre and beach. 3. Bispham
Bispham was a place named many times by readers.
Antoinette Parker said: "We moved to Bispham from Birmingham. Absolutely love it here, wish I'd done it years ago!"
The area is mostly residential, but there's two main shopping areas, great schools, a police station, a tram station, pubs and Bispham has five of the fourteen Lancashire County Council designated Biological Heritage Sites (BHS), including Kincraig Lake Ecological Reserve.

4. Poulton-le-Fylde
Many readers pointed to Poulton as a great place to live.
Damien Gibbs said: "You don’t need to leave it if you don’t want to, but if you do, it’s got a train station with trains that can take you anywhere in the country without the need to use a car."
It's a compact but busy town centre with market day on Monday. There’s plenty of places to eat and drink, and a vibrant nightlife.

5. Great Eccleston
It should be no surprise at all that Great Eccleston gets a mention.
In 2022, the village was named by The Telegraph as Lancashire's 'poshest village'.
The so-called 'posh appeal' was determined by factors including high house prices, connectivity, the best lifestyle amenities, and chocolate-box appeal.

6. St Anne's
St Annes boasts beautiful Victorian buildings, a promenade where you can see across to North Wales, an array of shops, supermarkets, and is within touching distance of Blackpool's bright lights.
