The Choral Society will perform part one of the Messiah by Handel in the first half.

It will feature Fleetwood tenor Michael Boe, brother of international star Alfie Boe, and a gifted singer in his own right, as well as Jonathan Ainscough (bass) and Ann Harvey (mezzo soprano).

Conducting will be John Powell, a late replacement for Alistair McKenzie.

And in the second half, Sylvan Sounds will perform Britten’s Ceremony of Carols.

Parry’s Blest Pair of Sirens and I Was Glad will be performed by both choirs together.

Tickets cost £10 and can be obtained from the Marine Hall box office. Phone (01253) 887693.
