HE spent years of hard graft honing his craft and cared little for instant fame, but the hard road to rock and blues mastery has been worth it for harmonica maestro and singer Paul Lamb.
With a string of awards, highly rated albums and a steady following of blues acolytes, the effort has more than paid off.
This Saturday night the veteran bluesman and his band bring their electrifying sound to Thornton Little Theatre.
Paul Lamb and the King Snakes take to the stage at 9pm.
Right now, the King Snakes are a refreshing mixture of relative youth and experience.
Paul has spent the last 30-some years whoopin’ and hollerin’ in clubs in his native North-East plus a later move to London, in concert and on festival stages.
Tickets, £10, on the door.
