Drop The Floor are special guests as Gillespie’s Folk and Roots Club returns after a couple of months off.
The club took a breather due to refurbishments at its usual venue, the Old Town Hall in Poulton.
But with the work complete, and a sparkling new function room upstairs at the pub to perform in, a new era begins tomorrow.
Drop The Floor are guests for the night. The group are made up of four Irish session musicians, Richard Moss (guitar and vocals), Dan Burke (banjo), Steven Johnstone (pipes) and Martin Baptie (fiddle and vocals) and are guaranteed to play some proper foot-stomping tunes.
Admission is £5 and as it coincides with Halloween, those who come in fancy dress – pumpkin, witches hat, broomstick, and so on - only have to pay £3.
Doors open 8pm for an 8:30 start. For more details go to www.folkatgillespies.co.uk or contact Annie on 07425 146 950.
