The Royal Oak pub in Fleetwood is playing host to a night of heavy rock and metal covers this Friday.

Oldham band Sin After Sin will be performing two sets of songs by the likes of AC/DC, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica and others.

Although Friday’s gig is the band’s debut in Fleetwood, three of the band’s four members are well known in the town for their regular appearances performing together as A Band Of Gypsies.

Sin After Sin line up with Tony Wood on lead guitar and vocals, Russ Burns on the bass, Andy Williams on drums and Tony Peacock on lead vocals and rhythm guitar.

Promoter Dave Mann said: “Several of the town’s music fans recommended Sin After Sin to us, having seen them on a trip out of town.

“There are some classics in the set list so if you like your rock loud, hard and heavy then you’ll not be disappointed.”

Admission to the gig at the Lord Street pub is free and the music starts around 9pm.
