THE North Euston Hotel will be playing host to two very different bands this weekend.
On Saturday night Brother Rabbit (right) will be in action from 9pm.
The Cleveleys-based combo perform classic cover songs by the likes of The Eagles, Dire Straits, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Fleetwood Mac and The Band.
For the past month they have had a new five-piece line-up comprising Nick James Thompson (vocals, guitar, harmonica), his brother Robert Warwick Thompson (guitar, vocals), drummer Jimmy ‘The Gloves’ Dyson and new members Mark Arnold (keyboard, vocals) and bass player Al ‘Magic’ Holford.
Robert told the Weekly News: “We play great songs by well-known artists, but they are not always the obvious songs!”
Admission is free.
And on Sunday, popular swing ensemble Sounds 18 Big Band (left) will perform in the ballroom from 8.30pm.
The aptly-named 18-piece band will stylishly perform well known numbers including Count Basie classics aven add a little Sinatra.
Admission is £5.
