AROUND 100 young dancers are putting on a show in Fleetwood next week.
The Phyllis Davies School of Dancing are staging their annual big production, this year entitled Destination Dance.
This fleet-footed spectacular will take audiences around the world to enjoy the dance styles of different countries.
So there will be the tarantella of Italy, Riverdance-style dancing from Ireland and much more besides.
And the youngsters, aged from two to 20, will also employ their skills in ballet, tap, jazz and modern along the way.
The show takes place at the Marine Hall from Wednesday, July 27, to Saturday, July 30, beginning each night at 7.15pm.
Dance school principal Phyllis Davies said: “It’s a very colourful show and this year we will have the addition of a circus number, because we are now including circus skills at the school.”
The show has been choreographed by Phyllis’ daughter, Kathryn Mather.
The long-established dance school is based at Ritherham Hall, on Ritherham Avenue, Cleveleys, and most of the performers come from Cleveleys, Thornton and Fleetwood.
