THREE people were taken to hospital following a two car collision in Cleveleys.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the crash involving a Ford transit van and a Ford Mondeo at the junction of West Drive and Amounderness Way at 7.10am this morning.

Firefighters used cutting equipment to release the driver trapped in the Mondeo, who was then taken by ambulance to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

The driver and passenger of the transit van were also taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Motorists may face delays after West Drive was closed from Eversleigh Avenue and Amounderness Way shut southbound from Bourne Way.
