POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a multi-vehicle crash at Thornton when two drivers were left with injuries.

The pile-up was on January 6 on Amounderness Way at around 6am as drivers heading away from Fleetwood passed the junction with West Drive.
A black Peugeot was in collision with a heavy lorry and two following vehicles were in a tail-end shunt where both drivers suffered whiplash.
The Peugeot driver left the scene after collecting his front bumper which had been removed and now police are anxious to contact him.
PC Andy Potts said: "We would like to speak to the driver or anyone who knows who he may be.
"The Peugeot could be identified because of the vehicle damage.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who was a witness to the accident."
Those with information should call PC Potts or PC Phil Baxendale on (01253) 876611.
