Poetry people welcome

A THORNTON-based group called Poetry People have set the date for their next meeting - and they would like new members to join them.
The group appreciate poetry and enjoy hearing it read well.
Discussion and participation are part of every monthly meeting but if members just want to listen they will still be welcome.
Meetings are held at Thornton Little Theatre on the first Thursday of every month from12.30pm-2.30pm.
The next event will be on Thursday November 6 when the theme will be "War Poetry".
Sessions cost £3 entry with light refreshments available at £1.
