SEAFRONT developments in Cleveleys will be officially handed over to the public tomorrow.

A day-long celebration is planned for the opening of the latest phase of the project with local bands, professional singers and a sprinkling of celebrities perfroming on the new sea terrace.
Radio Wave's roadshow will kick everything off at 10am before funnyman Frank Carson warms up the crowd in time for the official opening at 11am by Wyre Mayor Councillor Keith Riley.
A packed programme of entertainment will then follow through to 4pm, including a personal appearance from Kelsey-Beth Crossley, otherwise known as Emmerdale's Scarlet Nicholls.
Phase three of the works extended the seawall from Beach Road to Victoria Road West and incorporates a number of stunning new features.
They include the Sea Terrace area, cafe and tourist information centre.
Phase Four, which will see the sea wall extended to the boundary with Blackpool at Kingsway, is likely to commence later this year following £3m advanced of funding from the Environment Agency.
Councillor Peter Hawley, Wyre Borough Council's Living Economy Portfolio Holder, said: "This event is all about celebrating a seafront scheme that goes so much further than improving Cleveleys coastal defences.
"This has been an outstanding piece of work and I am exceptionally proud to have been involved with it right from the start."
Another unveiling takes place on Saturday, just along the Promenade at Jubilee Gardens, as Councillor Riley opens a Youth Shelter in the park.
The aim was to create an area protected from the elements where youngsters could meet and call their own.
Young people throughout Wyre were asked for preferred locations and Jubilee Gardens was chosen as it was close to existing recreational facilities.
