New jobs to be created at Jubilee park
CLEVELEYS is set to get its first Harvester Pub and Grill – which will also create new jobs.
The Jubilee, on Jubilee Park, is set to become the town's first Harvester when it reopens at the end of this month following a refurbishment.
Work began on refitting the premises three weeks ago after the site was acquired by Harvester, with the new-look restaurant set to create a number of additional jobs.
This will include opportunities for new bar, waiting and kitchen staff as the restaurant gears up for an expected increase in custom when it welcomes its first guests on May 22.
Manager Craig Timmins said they hoped the new Harvester would become the ideal place for family and friends who want a meal or a drink.
He added: "We are putting a great deal of effort into creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that people will want to come back to, time after time."
Harvester's marketing manager, Alex Meyer, added there was "huge potential" in Cleveleys.
He said: "We are delighted to have secured such a fantastic site for our first Harvester pub and grill in this area."
The Jubilee will offer a
selection of Harvester's famous dishes, such as flame-grills.
It also has unlimited trips to the salad cart free with every meal and a new menu.
The pub area will also offer an all-day bar menu.
Most dishes are discounted during the day as part of Harvester's Earlybird scheme.
