POLICE have raided a second cannabis factory in three days.
Officers discovered a 39-plant cannabis growing operation after searching a house on John Street, Thornton.
After carrying out a search of the property, the cannabis plants, along with various items of cultivation equipment, were found in the loft.
All of the items were seized by officers.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing Class B drugs at addresses in Thornton and Blackpool, and on suspicion of criminal damage.
He has now been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The raid came just three days after officers discovered another cannabis factory at an address on Kelso Avenue, Thornton, after a member of the community reported a smell coming from the property.
Two men in their 30s were arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug at the Thornton garage and have been released on police bail, pending further investigations.
The plants found will eventually be destroyed.
The two raids are not thought to be linked.
