A WAREHOUSEMAN who had early morning drinks with colleagues after their night shift was later stopped for drink-driving.
Pawel Salada, 27, of Glenarden Avenue, Cleveleys, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol.

He was banned from the road for 12 months, fined £240 with £85 costs and ordered to pay the £15 victims' surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said police received information about a driver suspected of being at the wheel after drinking on January 22 at 9.30am.

Officers saw the car on Red Bank Road and stopped it.

A breath test showed 50 micrograms of alcohol in Salada's body – 35 is the limit.

Tony Slater, defending, said his client, who had no previous convictions, finished a 13-hour night shift and then had some drinks with colleagues in a car park.
