Engine taken out of the Riverdance

ONE of the two mighty engines has been taken out of beached trawler Riverdance.
Weighing around 40 tonnes, the engine was lifted from the beached cargo ferry at Cleveleys before being transported to a spares company in the North East.

Project manager for contractors PGL Demolition, Mark Quinn, said: "Compared to most of the pieces we have taken off, this was pretty heavy."
