Then head over to Wyre Estuary Country Park in Thornton for an open day that promises to keep young and old entertained with a host of activities.
Animal lovers will have plenty of see thanks to a falconry display, a visit by Farmer Parr's Heritage museum and clever canines courtesy of Blackpool Supa Nova's Dog Agility Team. There's also a chance to get closer to nature with a number of Wildlife Watch activities.
Youngsters can get their face painted or take part in a treasure hunt, while parents sample some local produce from the Made in Lancashire Food Fayre.
The open day is a chance for Wyre Borough Council's countryside team to show people the facilities at Wyre Estuary Country Park, including a visitors centre, guided walks through beautiful countryside and free hire of the award-winning Tramper buggy for the less abled.
Charles Pass, Countryside Officer for Wyre, said: "These open days have always proved popular in the past. We're hoping as many people as possible come along on Bank Holiday Monday to enjoy the fun and learn more about the park."
