Pupils from primary schools across Wyre have been making their own soap during a science and enterprise day at Millfield High in Thornton.
Youngsters were challenged to make, market and sell their own product, working with high school students and using the facilities of the specialist science and performing arts college.
Each team had create a new logo for their soap, design a poster to advertise it, make packaging and formulate a presentation.
Everyone in the team had a role and a deadline to meet.
Lynda Needham from Millfield said the event enabled younger pupils to meet high school students and work on projects they might not get the chance to at primary school.
She said: "It proved to be a very successful and enjoyable day and the children remarked it was more like something from the Apprentice – I'm sure Alan Sugar would have been proud of us!"
