There were no withdrawals at the final declaration stage for Saturday's Crabbies Grand National at Aintree

That means that Bishops Road, owned by Lytham businessman Alan Halsall, could miss out.

But there is a chance that the horse could still get in.

Bishops Road was set to join the waiting-list as first reserve.

If any of the declared 40 horses withdraw between now and 1pm on Friday, then Bishops Road would get a run.

Bishops Road has been trained specially for the race, having won the Betfred Grand National Trial at Haydock Park in February, as well as a chase at Sandown in January after being purchased from Ireland by Halsall, who is a director at Aintree.
