THREE key players have pledged their future to Fleetwood Town - signing new contracts

Goalkeeper Scott Davies has penned a new three-year deal, which will keep him at Highbury until 2016.

Winger Junior Brown, top scorer this season with 12 goals, has signed a new two-year contract while full back Alan Goodall has added another one season deal.

Manager Graham Alexander was delighted to see his stars put pen to paper - particularly given Davies and Brown’s ambitions of playing at a higher level.

On the Davies deal he said: “You genuinely can’t have enough of these type of people at your club.

“I thought that he would have been coveted by a few clubs over the summer, and it’s great that he believes in this club going where he wants to go in his career.

“I know exactly what I’m going to get from him.

“He’s fantastic and a great role model for everyone at the club.”
