Fleetwood Town have confirmed their third signing of the summer with striker Jamie Proctor set to join Graham Alexander’s squad.
Proctor is no stranger to the Fleetwood boss, the pair having played together at Preston North End.
The 22-year-old frontman made 35 appearances for North End, scoring six goals.
A double hernia injury blighted his last season at Deepdale but didn’t prevent the promising youngster earning a transfer to Premier League Swansea City.
Having failed to break through at The Liberty Stadium, Proctor returned to League One with Crawley Town, scoring 15 goals in 50 appearances.
He was offered a new contract at the start of the summer - the deal withdrawn shortly after leaving the door open for the Preston-born striker to join up with his old team-mate at Highbury.
Proctor joins left-back Danny Andrew and experienced midfielder Keith Southern as the new boys about Town.
The deal will go through on July 1.
