Full back Conor McLaughlin has signed a new contact which will keep him at Fleetwood Town until 2017.
The Northern Ireland international right back had been linked with moves to Blackpool and Bristol City.
But his future has now been decided with a three-year deal at the Higbury club.
McLaughlin’s new deal, along with a new contract for goalkeeper Chris Maxwell means boss Graham Alexander has no more loose ends to tie up at the club.
His focus will now be on strengthening in key positions ahead of the big kick off on August 9.
A striker is understood to be top of the manager’s shopping list.
