York City winger Peter Till is expected to join Fleetwood Town on a two-year-deal this week.
Till was a Blue Square Bet Premier regular at Bootham Crescent this season, making 45 appearances and scoring four goals.
A product of the Birmingham City youth set-up, the 25-year-old moved to York from Walsall last summer, having made 34 League One appearances for the Saddlers during 2009/10.
He was previously with Grimsby Town and had loan spells with Scunthorpe, Boston, Leyton Orient and Chesterfield.
Till said: “I’m looking forward to joining Fleetwood Town once my contract with York City ends. Everyone at the club is very ambitious.
“Both the chairman and manager are very positive about the direction the club is taking.
“The chairman doesn’t want to stay in this league, he wants to go up. That ambition is massive. It’s a big factor for me as I want to return to League football.
“I can’t wait to come back for pre-season and start a new challenge. “
