Fleetwood Town have extended the loan of defender Dionotan Teixeira by another three months.
The Stoke City centre half has been an ever-present for Fleetwood since arriving at the start of October.
He will now remain at Highbury until January 2.
Teixeira is keen to continue getting first team football under new boss Steven Pressley.
He said: “Everything has been okay so far because the players have all helped me fit in.
“We picked up a good three points at Barnsley on Saturday, and it’s important we try and improve every game.
“We now need to win the next game at home as it’s important for us.
“I need to play regularly as I want to help the team pick up three points each week.”
Teixeira will have a new centre half partner on Saturday after Richard Wood joined rivals Chesterfield on loan.
In a twist of fate Town host the Spireites this weekend.
